At Samsung Cambridge Solution Centre (SCSC) we develop world-leading Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity for Samsung Semiconductor’s range of chips. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join our team on a 14-month fixed-term maternity cover contract starting no later than 01 April 2026. Your role will focus on the smooth-running of monthly payroll, our reward schemes and company benefits. You will be part of a small, dynamic and collaborative team, working alongside your colleagues to provide professional HR generalist and payroll service to support the business in achieving its goals. Key Responsibilities

Providing a proactive and flexible HR and payroll service.
Delivering a high-level accurate payroll service for the UK office including: data compilation, liaising and instructing our Shared Service Centre, pension auto-enrolment responsibility and answering employee payroll queries.
Responsibility for end of year tax reporting, such as P11d’s and PSA.
Benefit coordination and administration including: maintaining the benefit system, reconciling benefit invoices, running regular benefit reports and reviewing benefit offerings.
Managing the leave system: including calculating annual leave, running regular leave reports for sickness and other leave types and being the first point of contact for any leave queries.
Assisting with family leave requests, including maternity, paternity, shared parental and parental leave.
Managing our immigration policy and assisting employees with visa applications from start to finish ensuring the business remains compliant.
Completing the self-assessment documentation and submission for dispatchers (expats) at SCSC.
Participate in People Team projects as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required

Previous Payroll Experience.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communicator with exceptional relationship building and negotiation skills.
Strong focus on teamwork & collaboration.
Strong customer service mind-set.
Sound knowledge of UK employment law.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically, Microsoft Excel.
A qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject.

Desired

Experience in UK immigration law.
